From April to October, River Valley Riders provides therapeutic horseback riding and carriage driving in the St. Croix River Valley for children and adults with special needs. Benefits include improvement of balance, increase of core strength, development of self-confidence and improvement of social skills.

Don't miss the 20th Annual Afton May Fair event on Saturday and Sunday, May 19th and 20th! Celebrating spring and the arts, this 2-day outdoor festival takes place in the town square and boulevards of the charming river town of Afton. Featuring over sixty arts, crafts, business and food vendors, kids and family activities, live music and entertainment, an old-fashioned pie baking contest and more.
