Welcome to the Website of River Valley Riders!

From April to October, River Valley Riders provides therapeutic horseback riding and carriage driving in the St. Croix River Valley for children and adults with special needs. Benefits include improvement of balance, increase of core strength, development of self-confidence and improvement of social skills.

photo of Stormy, Horse of the YearWe are proud to announce that Cheryl Holt's horse Stormy was recognized as the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International's Horse of the Year for the upper midwest (Region VI).  Also long-time volunteer, Kathy Jo Hanson received PATH International's Volunteer of the Year award for Region VI.
