Horse'n Around the Valley

Through our "Horse'n Around the Valley" horse statues, we hope to raise awareness for River Valley Riders as an organization that not only provides therapeutic riding and carriage driving, but also gives the gift of smiles, confidence, and connection with horses for both the children and their parents.

 
Three horses, approximately 18 inches tall and mounted on a black walnut wood base, were sponsored by local businesses and then painted and decorated by selected artists.  The horses were on display in the St. Croix River Valley for the months of September and October 2010. The horses were auctioned at the “Round-Up Dinner and Auction” on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
